Russian forces attacked a monastery in the village of Chervonyi Maiak, Kherson Oblast, with an FPV drone at about 15:00 on 19 September, according to the Kherson Oblast Military Administration.
The regional administration said a 71-year-old priest was killed in the strike. Four other priests were injured; the reported casualties were aged 31, 51, 51 and 53.
Early information from the administration indicated that the four injured clergy sustained blast and shrapnel wounds. No further details on their condition were provided in the report.
The monastery is in Chervonyi Maiak, a village within the Novoraisk hromada, an administrative community in Kherson Oblast. Ukrainska Pravda reported the incident, citing the Kherson Oblast Military Administration.
