How the UNMANNED FRONTIER data index works
Our public databases are generated from the same source-backed knowledge graph used to support UNMANNED FRONTIER reporting. They are designed as living reference products, not exhaustive inventories.
Inclusion
Systems, companies and programs enter public trackers only after they are active knowledge-graph entities and have published evidence or reporting coverage. Thin internal entities are not exposed merely to create more pages.
Verification
Facts and relationships shown as verified must be tied to a source item that is already attached to a published UNMANNED FRONTIER article. Unverified graph material remains private and is excluded from public tracker output.
Sources
Where available, tracker rows link to the underlying source material. Sources can include official releases, procurement notices, company disclosures, established media and other open-source reporting used by the newsroom.
Updates
The index updates as new reporting is processed, verified and published. Counts and relationships can change when additional evidence appears, entities are merged or a prior record is corrected.
Limitations
Absence from a tracker does not imply that a system, contract or operator does not exist. Public disclosure varies heavily across countries and companies, and procurement values or quantities are often withheld.
Corrections
If a record is wrong, incomplete or outdated, send the relevant source to contact@unmannedfrontier.media. Material corrections should propagate into the connected entity and tracker pages.

Citing the database
Suggested citation: UNMANNED FRONTIER, “[tracker title],” unmannedfrontier.media/data, accessed [date]. When citing an individual fact, use the direct source link shown in the relevant entity or tracker row whenever possible.
